The Disease risk tool enables you to react accurately to the current situation, prevent crop damage and minimise the input of crop protection agents. This tool discribes the risk of infection for a particular crop with its major plant pathogens. The thresholds are computed by combing the in-crop measured data with the field specific weather forecast. This essential information is a included feature of the iQblue Clara.

With more than 50 crops and 100 diseases, the iQblue Clara can be used in arable farming, vegetables, fruit and viticulture. The Disease risk tool provides a 7 days overview on past and expected chance of an infection. This unique tool really helps at keeping your crop healthy!

To compute the chance of infection the crop climate sensor captures data between the leaves. In this micro-climate the diseases arise and develop into crop damage and yield loss. By using the Disease risk tool you get trusted information to easily manage your crop protection and save money.

Spray planner

Set the optimum spraying time

Applying plant protection products at the optimal moment is of major importance when growing quality crops with respect for the environment. When spraying at the optimal moment costs can be reduced 25 – 30%. The Spray planner tool calculates the result of application of a given crop protection product based on its active ingredients, product formulation, the past, current and future weather condition at location and stage of the crop.

The Spray planner visualises an hourly spraying forecast for the efficiency of the specified product for the next 48 hours. Plan your crop protection activities around periods with the highest efficiency rate. The output from the Spray planner is based on 21 agrochemical weather-related and 5 meteorological-related processes. Each process is a result of modelling of a certain process happening in or on the leaf after application.

All steps of sticking, diffusion and uptake of droplets on the leaf or soil are calculated. All processes use meteorological data gathered and calculated by IQBlue Clara.
The Spray planner contains a data base with more than 1220 plant protection products. Only registered products are shown per crop and are selected per country, independent from brand or supplier.

Spray planner effectivity levels

90 – 100% effectivity, the dose of fungicides, herbicides and growth regulators can be reduced up to 30%.

70 – 90% effectivity. Moment of application is sufficient to execute the task.

50 – 70% effect. It’s recommended to choose a better moment for application.

< 50% effect. It’s recommended to not execute the application at this moment.
